Leadership Boards

A Leadership Board is a volunteer advisory board of leaders in a community or region who love Jesus Christ, care about coaches and sports, and recognize the incredible platform that athletics provides to impact their area for Jesus Christ.

Arizona State Board

Clint Manussen

Clint has been an FCA Board Member for over 10 years and current Board Chair. He and his wife of 47 years, Audrey, a Phoenix native, have two grown children, including 3 young grandchildren who also live in Phoenix. 

Clint was Chairman and CEO of Kurta Corporation, a Phoenix based computer graphics technology manufacturing concern. He previously held positions with ITT Courier and with the GE/Honeywell computer operations here in Phoenix, and has served on several corporate boards. 

He has been active in the community, is serving as the Finance/Stewardship Chairman of Camelback Bible Church, and has served as a Board member and President of the Heard Museum, President of the Forest Highlands Association in Flagstaff, and President of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, among other organizations. Clint is a graduate of Brown University and the General Electric Financial Management Program.

Shawn Boksie

Shawn Boskie  became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1988 while playing minor league baseball in Winston-Salem, NC. In 2001, he concluded a 15-year professional baseball career, eight of which were played in the Major Leagues. Upon retirement, he has focused on growing relationships and capital resources for organizations in both business and non-profit sectors. Currently, Shawn is a Partner and Head of Investor Relations for Pure Flix Entertainment, whose vision is to influence the global culture for Christ through media. He and his wife have enjoyed supporting Arizona Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) for more than 25 years. He is a member of the Advisory Board for The Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University, and has been featured as a keynote speaker for the purpose of fund raising, discipleship and outreach. He and Pam have been married for 28 years and have three children: Brad, Anna and Lauren.

Kent Petzold

As CEO, Mr. Petzold led 3 software companies to international dominance in their fields and subsequent successful exits via IPO or strategic acquisition. Kent was a General Partner in a venture capital firm and Senior Managing Director with an investment banking firm where he specialized in technology mergers and acquisitions. 

Mr. Petzold has served as a Director on numerous public, private and faith-based boards and is a volunteer Ambassador for Alliance Defending Freedom; an active Alumni of the FBI Citizens’ Academy; a Captain in the Sheriff’s Advisory Posse for Maricopa County, Arizona; and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. Kent and his wife, Eloise, reside in Scottsdale, Arizona and attend Impact Bible Church. Mr. Petzold holds a B.A. in Management from the University of Texas and worked his way through school as a Deputy Sheriff and IT professional.

Kenneth J. Vegors

Kenneth J. Vegors (Ken) joined the State Board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in October, 2018.  Ken has served as Managing Partner of SLV Properties, LLC headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Established in 1996, SLV Properties has owned and managed a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate properties located in Arizona. Prior to founding SLV Properties, Ken was an Executive Officer in Commercial Banking with First Interstate Bank in Phoenix, Arizona, and Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Ken currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bankers Trust Company, Phoenix; Liberty Wildlife Rehabilitation of Arizona; and the Adams Leadership Institute at Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.  He received a B.S. degree from Drake in 1971 and the M.S. degree from Iowa State University in 1973.  Ken served in the United States Army as a commissioned officer from 1971 to 1977.

Ken and his wife, Patti, reside in Scottsdale and are active members of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and Paradise Valley Country Club.

Jason Zilveti

Jason serves a select number of families, specializing in multi-generational family wealth preservation. Jason joined UBS in February 2008.  He is proud to be named a 2019 Best in State (Arizona) Advisor by Forbes / SHOOK's Research and as a 2018 Forbes America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisor.   In 2014 he was recognized as one of the Top 35 Advisors under age 35 at UBS for the second consecutive year. Prior to joining UBS, Jason was the #1 ranked Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley from 2004-2007 within his class and peer group. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Jason graduated summa cum laude from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University. Jason holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation, administered by Investments & Wealth Institute® formerly IMCA in conjunction with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Jason is 1 of only 9 listed CPWA® designees in AZ and 1 of 728 in the US.

Born in Connecticut, Jason has lived in Arizona for over 30 years. He lives in Paradise Valley with his wife, Brooke, and daughters Mya and Mary Kate. In addition to his faith and family, Jason is passionate about the ministries he serves on the state boards for, playing golf, and all things nutrition and exercise-related having competed in numerous ultramarathons.
